Brief Description:
The consultant will be responsible for assisting clients in optimizing its daily HR Services and processes and support in developing and supervise the implementation of the client HR plans and technology to maximize the value of client HR endeavors that will help business as a whole.
As a member of Merit Consulting team, the Consultant plays an integral role in contributing to the successful execution of client engagements and building the firm's reputation for quality service.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•   Analyzing current HR strategy and programs and recommending solutions.
•   Support in Developing HR Budget
•   Formulate strategic and practical plans to address human resource matters.
•   Initiate and lead Human Resource improvement programs and creativity projects.
•   Conduct research through various methods (data collection, surveys etc.) to identify a problematic situation or find the cause.
•   Provide advice and recommendations to client for HR resolution on daily issues.
•   Review systems and processes and make modifications to address issues.
•   Develop HR policies and assist in the development and integration of policies.
•   Assist client in recruiting by developing required Job Descriptions, identify suitable qualification and competencies taking into consideration UAE rules and regulations.
•   Assist client in training and development by support in developing required training plan and career path.
•   Formulate plans and techniques to drive change and culture management.
•   Support client in selecting and implementing suitable HR technology.
•   Help establish control systems for compliance with business methods and HR practices.
•   Support knowledge of advancements in the business field and present new innovative ideas.
•   Participate in the drafting of reports and presenting draft to project manager for review and approval.
•   Related projects/work as assigned.

Qualifications:
•   BSc/BA in human resources, business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA in human resources will be a plus
•   10-12 years of experience in working with various HR operations processes highly desired
•   Experience in project management preferably HR related
•   In-depth knowledge of UAE HR principles, laws and regulations
•   Computer savvy with working knowledge of HR IT Applications (Oracle, ATS, Payroll etc.)
•   Excellent communication and consulting skills
